It’s been two months since I joined the Y and started working out. And since I like Melissa’s listing of the various activities, I think I’ll start doing the same, beginning today.
Elliptical: Level 2 for a total of 35 minutes (30 minutes plus a 5-minute cooldown)—2.46 miles
Treadmill: Incline 2.0, Speed 2.3 mph for 35 minutes—1.34 miles
Stationary Bike: Level 7 for 25 minutes (20 minutes plus a 5-minute cooldown)—5.09 miles
Total mileage today: 8.89
That’s a new level on the elliptical; I’ve been exercising at Level 1 until today, although last week I began increasing the level for part of my workout. And still only 4 minutes of that time is spent in reverse (and at a slower speed than forward).
And I'm on my way from Rivendell to Lothlorien.
